Training has been really fun and I think I have really improved since I first started out in Floorball. I really can’t wait for A Divs cos that will be when all my hard work is stretched to the limit. I used to have the misconception that floorballs were really light balls with holes that wouldn’t hurt much when it hits you, but evidently I’ve been proven wrong. It is and will always be very intimidating when you hear the sound of a ball flying towards you… it’s rather akin to a tiny rocket… or maybe a firework, something like that… On the other hand, I still can’t get used to wearing contacts, cos I take a ridiculous amount of time to get them into my sockets… :S

Still need to study for Blocks and haven’t started on History yet, so time is really tight. As such, I’m going to be rather deprived of this year’s World Cup, but hopefully it will be worth it in the end. GO BAFANA BAFANA! Still have training tomorrow morning haha, looking forward to it. Hopefully we can get a better position in Nationals next year compared to this year’s, haha…

Getting my next POP in a few days time, really can’t wait. I’ve started some kind of buy-sell hobby as well so hopefully I won’t encounter much cash flow issues… the “holidays” have been rather suffocating so far, being cooped up at home studying and all… really looking forward to post-blocks period, which is kinda weird lol…

On a final note, I don’t really have much time to blog these days so perhaps I’ll stick to this trend of one post per month or something… haha

I feel betrayed. It seems incredibly coincidental that I’m quoting from a source that describes how the inability to understand differences amongst human beings can lead to rejection and isolation. It is also incredibly ironic that while I start to grow closer to Literature, I am also growing more distant from it.

I think many would agree with me that the past year’s events were experiences that should never be discussed again. So why are they resurfacing during these crucial 2 years of my life? Things were picking up, and I believed that, over time, maturity would be inevitable. Evidently, this belief has been proven groundless with regards to some people. While it is the mere minority this time round, you have to wonder if ostracism will ever vanish from my life. I think not.

Sometimes, things happen around you that make you feel like you’re living a dream. But sooner or later, we all have to wake up. You tend to wonder, is waking up a good or bad thing? When you attempt to restrain yourself from succumbing to the influences around you, yet your heart tells you otherwise, what should you do?

This raging battle within me, I hope I find the solution. Things are getting out of hand.

Anyway have been saving up also, will probably spend around $500 more or something…

Just had my first JCC Jap lesson today, it was very enriching and I can’t wait for the next one. (Even though I was quite far ahead since I was attending the beginner class, but ah what the heck) But the bad thing was that even though I started out in mid October last year, I have forgotten alot of things due to a long hiatus, so have to go back and re-learn all the Hiragana again :S…

Why? Simply because I have no time to play it in JC so I might as well make some cash out of it in order to fund my growing list of debts due to my fetish with One Piece POPs. Ok just a rough estimate, I owe $180 + $109 + $97 + $120 for the reamaining POPs till July, and $120 if wayne decides not to invest in “Crocodile”, meaning I’ll have to pay for it too. Oh and $20 for Ace-Whitebeard handphone pouch . Screwed up huh?

Haha sounds really stupid right?

Anyway, saw someone reading One Piece Manga in Fishtank today. I was like, oh wow people actually do that, but I’m not one to complain. Perhaps One Piece is too addictive to some people, such as myself. But I guess there’s always going to be a first to everything, even in really akward situations.

10A10 has been great so far, I knew most of the High School boys there already but I was never in the same class as them so I guess it should be a whole new experience. And being in a almost pure literature class, there are lots of Pros in my class that make me look really insignificant in front of them. Hm, just imagine Chopper vs. Whitebeard and you’ll get the picture. People like jiasheng, whom I’ve realised is exceptionally horny, Tee Zhuo, Hui Yao (Maximillian ftw!) and Joel (the really cool dude from HP who likes people calling him Joe………l) so yeah I have alot to learn from them and this should be a great 2 years.

Just had GP test today which turned out really good, but I got 10/17 for H1 Math test. That sucks. Like shit. Ok so many people in the class got around the same marks, ±1, and it was due to a 4 mark question that cost me my A, but ah what the heck life goes on. Things have never gone my way in terms of results so I’m pretty used to it (although I know I shouldn’t). I’m still thinking if I should purchase this Jap textbook online to facilitate my learning of the language, and for $20 that’s shipped from Japan I think it’s reasonable, but I’m already in JCC so I’ll have to see how the lessons there go first.

Orientation was fun and all, especially the campfire and all the OG outings. But that chapter has ended, a new one will begin soon. I guess it’s all down to mental preparation. Seniors and teachers have been saying that the first test will be a real culture shock, but I don’t ever want to fail anymore. Nidoto. High school was enough trauma, I don’t need another nightmare. Thou shalt prevail!

Anyway I’m now in 10A10, my class takes 14 different subject combinations. Go figure. But they’re all nice people, and now that we’re standing on equal ground again I don’t feel so left out in class anymore. I never want a repeat of what happened in Year 4. Nidoto.

Lectures have been quite enjoyable so far (although I wouldn’t really call them lectures), really hoping to learn more knowledge and gain deeper insights. Everything has been really great except for the quiz in the literature lecture, which made me feel like a “Barbie Doll”.

Still choosing between HACAS and Photography club. I wonder which would be better for me. Went for JCC open house today and quite liked it, plus there will be Japanese lessons every alternate week, which is a major pulling factor. So I’ll join JCC as my 2nd CCA.

HACAS or Photography, that is the question.

  After that, I went for Greg’s grandpa’s wake. His house is very big. Like really super dekkai kind of big… anyway paid my respects to Senior Ng, then had a chat with Gregory. He’s a really nice guy man, and its like, after having not chatted for such a long time (if by chatting you mean more than a “Hi, bye” in school), it was really quite interesting to see how much everyone around us has grown and stuff. So we did quite a bit of catching up, and it was fun apart from the mourning atmosphere surrounding us… it was a wake after all. My condolescences to you and your family and may he rest in eternal peace. God bless us all.
